Finance Transformation | Fixed Assets | ERP Strategy | Business Advisory

If you are here, chances are you care about financial excellence, operational discipline, or building systems that actually work. You are in the right place.

My name is Osondu O. Ariwodo, MBA, FCIB. For over two decades, I have worked at the intersection of finance, accounting, enterprise systems, and strategic leadership, helping organizations strengthen financial governance, improve reporting accuracy, and drive meaningful process transformation.

A Career Built on Trust and Results

My professional journey spans multiple industries, including technology, manufacturing, media, food production, consumer services, and infrastructure. I have led and supported finance functions that demand precision, strong internal controls, and scalable processes.

Organizations I have worked with include Kendall Vegetation Services, Impossible Foods, Cox Media Group, Service Experts, Veritiv, and Teradata, with deep specialization in fixed assets, lease accounting, ERP optimization, and financial reporting.

My Professional Foundation

I hold an MBA in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management and carry the designation of Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB). I have also served in leadership roles within CIBN's U.S. branch, contributing to professional development and industry engagement across the diaspora finance community.

My technical expertise spans the platforms and disciplines that modern finance functions depend on:

  • SAP S/4HANA

  • Oracle

  • NetSuite

  • Sage Fixed Assets

  • Lease accounting platforms

  • ERP process redesign

  • Fixed asset lifecycle governance

  • Capital project accounting

  • Financial controls automation

  • Financial reporting transformation

But beyond systems and spreadsheets, the real work is solving business problems. Finance should not merely record history. It should shape smarter decisions.

Why This Blog Exists

Too many businesses struggle with avoidable financial inefficiencies: weak accounting controls, poor ERP implementation decisions, asset tracking breakdowns, manual processes, and capital expenditure governance gaps. I have seen these issues repeatedly. I have also seen what happens when finance leadership gets it right.

This blog is where I share practical insights from real-world experience, not theory.

Leadership Beyond Corporate Finance

Professional credibility is not built only in the workplace. It is also built through service.

Over the years, I have served in leadership roles within nonprofit, professional, and community organizations, including diaspora initiatives focused on empowerment, governance, and institutional development. That commitment reflects a simple belief: leadership is stewardship. Whether in business, community building, or advisory work, trust remains the most valuable currency.

A Little Personal Note

I believe in discipline, integrity, execution, and building systems that outlast individuals. I value practical thinking over noise. I respect institutions, but I also believe institutions must evolve.

I am passionate about helping businesses grow stronger, helping professionals think better, and helping communities organize more effectively. And yes, I still believe accounting can be exciting when it drives real business impact.

What Comes Next

If you follow this blog, expect candid insights, practical frameworks, professional commentary, strategic observations, and occasionally hard truths about finance, leadership, business transformation, and organizational effectiveness.

No fluff. Just useful thinking.

Welcome to my world.
